• Walk the Ramp - A 45 second walk on the ramp in attire of totally your choice on a scintillating background score. Be ready to woo the audience in yr own style.It could be a bollywood theme, a texas cowboy theme... decide yr dress code and put a 45 second music clip with it, we will read out yr dress style and play this music while u walk the ramp in any way u want...U can even get a friend or 2-3 people and decide to walk together if u want to represent something together.
• A "Surprise" - This round will be disclosed on the spot to test what you have got :) Note:- There is no singing or dancing involved so don't worry!

ANTAKSHARI 2008

• Make teams of 2 people and register your names with us as soon as possible. We are accepting team names till 11:00 pm friday April 18th, 2008.
• Rules are very simple. All the registered teams will participate in preliminary round at 2:30 pm on 20th April (Sunday) and based on that we will shortlist 5 teams who ll play ANTAKSHARI 2008 with us at 4:00 pm..
• So, all those bathroom singers who are always shy to sing in public, what can be a better platform for you all to sing..Coz here what matters is not your voice but your enthusiasm to sing and then people will sing with you.

PHOTOWALL

• Sparsh gives you a chance to be on stage! And if you cant be on stage, you surely can be on our SCI-PHOTO-WALL! !
• We will be having a Photo-Wall at Sparsh, where we display photos sent by YOU!! You send us your pics, we print them for you [4"x6"] - and display them at the wall for all to view. And whats more, you can even take them with you at the end of the day...and all this for FREE!!!!
• We want to accomodate as many photos as possible, so please bear in mind:
  • you need to be an SCI member to send us snaps.
  - you need to be in the picture!!
  • - we recommend snaps with three or more people, and all of them should be UMD students in past/present.
  • only ONE good snap per 'house'/per 'roommates'/ per 'bday party' etc. - posting of photos will be at final discretion by SCI Committee and SCI wont be responsible for any pics not displayed at Sparsh. - photos will be returned only to the person who sends it to us.

A prelude to a saga that will unfold this Sunday 1 am, at Colony Ballroom, Stamp Student Union. Come and be a part of an epic! The title reads "Kabhi Sane Kabhi Insane". Only that remains permanent, the script - we leave it to time! ...

• Eligibility: a perfect mix of sanity and insanity. We know it is too much to get that right mix in an individual - you can optimize that with a team of 4.
