Rules and Regulations:

1. The competition is the part of the SCI annual flagship event Sparsh 2011 and the performing teams should contain atleast one member a graduate student or an alumni of University of Maryland, College Park.

2. The performances can be group or solo; the duration being atleast 3 mins.

3. In case of groups; not more than 6 members are allowed. (this is due to limitations of the space).

4. It is mandatory for the competing groups/individuals to perform atleast a one minute act for the opening ceremony scheduled at the begining of the event. This performance may or may not be a part of their later performing act. The performance of the opening ceremony not be a part of the opening ceremony.

5. SCI does not take the responsibility of providing costumes and audio assistance.

6. For registration of performing groups/individuals email the information (names and contact) to advani.vivek@gmail.com by April 4. Any further changes in the group members and cancellation of registration has to be communicated a day before the event.

7. The audio and/or video data has to be submitted by April 6, 2011; failure to do so will lead to exclusion of the performance from the competition.

8. The decision of the judges is final and abiding.
